It's obviously a tactical choice to play 4-3-3 with a faster and more agile striker. It's working rather well for now.

Berba doesn't suit these high intensity matches that could be decided by a fast counter attack. I completely understand the reasoning for choosing Rooney ahead of him when playing with one striker, what i don't understand is why he feels the need to play with only one of them despite playing at home to City. Not much i can say about that now though, since he's winning.
