Sorry mate I won't be so blunt in my replies. Average was perhaps too harsh but I feel without Ferdinand Vidic lacks something, he seems to be caught out more, he's not too disciplined in his play. Ferdinand when fit is United's best defender and I'd say the best defender in the League. The way he can marshall a defence, his commanding of the back four, he's a very intelligent defender also. Class Rio is.

Thats where i don't agree. When the two play together, its always Vidic that is the more solid and more assertive defender. IMO he's been Uniteds best player this season.

Nah, you don't have to elaborate each time no worries. Perhaps but I still prefer Nemanja, if you think that why do you suppose Ferguson made Vidic the new captain and not Ferdinand?

I agree with Nick there. Vidic is definitely the better defender imo, but he does play a lot better when Rio is with him.
Yes, methinks that's because he's better than Smalling and Evans etc.

Rio is the better defender
Not in my opinion ;)

Vidic plays more perhaps? I also think it was a ploy so Vidic signed a new contract also. Considering he said he wanted to leave.

See Tevez at City.

Ferdie is always injured, or not always but yeah. As Nick said it. Vidic plays more.
Tomorrows match will probably be just another booring "big-game".

Are you going to the stadium Nick?

City definitely has a chance to win it if the stay disciplined at the back and they have no problem doing that.

And I don't know how many times I've said it, but Chicharito needs to start instead of Rooney.
