In some cup he scored
If Tevez stays at Citeh, Dzeko will sit on the bench. Tevez is having everything a striker needs.

Look there's no reason to get upset because ultimately the team has exceeded expectations so far, especially considering the defense wasn't bolstered. There's still room for manure to screw up, they can't win every single from here on out.
At times the team has done really well. But still theres a lot of reason to get upset, today one of the main reasons for our defense becoming so shambolic was the introduction of Squillachi, a signing that everyone and his mother knew from the get go was one that made no sense, Squillachi was average for Lyon, and i imagine he wasn't anything special in Sevilla as well.

Koscielny constantly had to leave his position to cover for Squillachi, and Kos is the type that panics when there is no organization in defense. Rosicky had a shocker too. Wenger should have got us a defender this transfer window, there are no two ways about that. His reluctance to bring in a defender could cost us this year.

He filled in against Wigan and had a shocker. Ever since Djourou has been back in the team, ie after the United game. We have only conceded more than one goal when Squillachi has played. Squillachi played twice ever since DJ has been back, against Wigan and against Newcastle today. Fact of the matter is, he's a terrible defender. Always has been, nothing new there. But Wenger's bias to French players has made him bring in players like Squillachi, and in the past Silvestre, Cygan and Grimandi

Even Koschelny (or however it's spelled) isn't that great. You guys really need to shell out for a tough center back.
Kos is very good when he plays alongside DJ, he automatically turns into Silvestre when playing alongside Squillachi. We need Verm back desperately, though its too late now, we should play for the FA Cup and Carling Cup.

I didn't see the game today.

However, as a general point, you need a big, aerially dominant CB to succeed in the EPL (Vidic, Terry, etc.). Without one of them, your team won't win many first headers from long balls or balls into the penalty and that means you will be put under intense presure, without the opposition even having to do anything good.

Arsenal's defence doesn't win the first ball to avoid pressure and isn't good enough to deal with the resulting pressure, so they will always be vulnerable.

Well anybody could tell you that, he was a stop gap measure to avoid spending big money. So who do you think will be added to the defensive ranks come summer transfer window for your team?
