Holden is back for Bolton, but couldn't save them this time.
He saved them in defense a couple of times. Once he blocked a shot what would have been a sure goal by Corluka. In attack he was dangerous. Bolton conceded soon after Holden was replaced. One of Bolton's better players today, imo their best player.

Fuck fuck fuck!

Djourou out for 3 months, just as we finally got a defense that can keep a clean sheet DJ gets another long term injury, we're seriously fucked now that we have to play Squillachi. Vermaelen is still nowhere near full fitness. Oh well at least we don't have to worry about who'll play one twos with Messi this season.

I read Arsenal's forum in xtratime and those guys blame the referee much more than they blame your own players. What's the catch...was that ref THAT awful?

No, thats just Arsenal fans having selective memory, the second penalty was an extremely soft one, and imo should never have been given to Newcastle, i haven't been to Xtratime but i imagine that is their main qualm with the ref. They are conveniently forgetting the goal that Newcastle scored that was wrongly dismissed though.

We have only ourselves to blame. I seriously believe that Djourou is as important as Cesc and RVP to our team this season, he has improved immensely and is a big factor in our recent results. Him getting injured in the start of the second half was a turning point both in yesterdays game and for our whole season.

That's real sad, after seeing that Squilacci yesterday causing two penalty's, I started understanding the importance of Vermaelen.

We should sign Kranjcar, I think he's good and he wouldn't cost us that much, right?
He would be cheap, sits on the bench always and Tottenham got him for dirt cheap too. But how would an attacking midfielder suit our formation?

Very good to hear. Holden has blown away my own expectations of him. Now he needs to keep up the performances and find a bigger club, along with working his way into a starting role for the national side.

We should have signed Kranjcar. If we can get him for a good price, then by all means bring him. Although he probably wouldn't fit DN's "system".
