Villa moved for 35 millions pounds!
andy isn't woth 35 mill, 20 is more reasonable. I feel better about Matri's deal, after hearing about the crazy numbers being thrown around in England.

Some crazy last minute action in the transfer market. Surprise surprise, we aren't invited to the party. Liverpool did well in selling an injury prone Torres for that much money, even if they did go on and buy an overpriced and extremely risky signing in Carroll. But Chelsea are a scary team again, FFS a Drogba - Torres partnership, i think if both players stay fit, Chelsea are back in the title race.

Chelsea could have a sick 4-3-3 line up with Malouda and torres playing out with Drogba in the middle. Or the tree formation! Chelsea are force to reckon with, as long as both Drogba and Nando stay injury free. Arsenal my team in the EPL, should have tried getting a CB, I wanted them to go for somebody like Hangeland who isn't afraid from throwing his weight around, and ofcourse a goalie. But oh well, I could picture Arsene's press conference after we lose against Barca and all those over used excuses of his

Torres would be wasted as a side forward, i think they'll most probably play Drogba and Torres upfront in diamond midfield system.

As for us against Barcelona, allah yostor.

He's an impressive player, he's done well for Newcastle this season, but he's probably not worth half the money Pool spent on him.

Tottenham going for Giuseppe Rossi? 37mln offered? probably bullshit no?
The offer was rejected i read. I don't think he suits them though, i was surprised to hear them going after him. Despite the fact that he's quite a good player thats having a really good season with Villareal.

Apparently they offered similar cash for Aguero, offered for Forlan, and were rejected.

Ya and for Llorente as well. They're desperate for a striker apparently. But whoever they want to bring, he has to be able to play as a lone man upfront. That's been Defoe's problem this season, he isn't the type of striker who can play upfront alone. Carrol or Llorente would have fit the bill.
