It'll take mire than 40 mil to repair the damage done by the previous bad running of the club.

Let's hope Old goaty beard does as good a job at Inter.
True, but this is a start. If Henry can do what he did with the Red Sox I'll take it.

I wonder if NESV will activate the Hodge Clause.

So from what I hear NESV now own Liverpool.

Too bad Hicks and Gilette. Exercise, futility, etc.
Not quite, High Court merely decided that Texas courts have no jurisdiction in the case and that the preliminary injunction against the sale of the club is moot. However, the Texas court has two choices 1) Back off and declare that the UK court system has jurisdiction or 2) Hold the hearing anyway and then declare that the UK court has jurisdiction.

Things are far from over, but they are moving in that direction.

Yeah your right.

So the deadline is 4pm tomorrow?

Yes. But whether or not it is enforced is still in question.

Liverpool still may go into Administration, then again it may not. It depends on RBS and the Prem offices. There are still too many questions to make a definite answer.

My guess is that we will end up in Administration, and the club will be sold to NESV. Though the sale may be delayed until next week.

I would think that if a sale is imminent, RBS will take a back seat and let NESV take over and pay the debt in due course.

RBS will only call in the debt at the first available point if Gillett and Hicks continue to be obstructive.

I figure H&G will try one last trick. That's why my theory is so negative.

I don't see what they've got left to do.

They should just get out and stop blowing money on legal fees on silly cases.
It's really only Hicks, considering Gilette sold is 50%. Hicks is just trying to force RBS to put the club into Administration to chase off Henry. He thinks the club is worth 800 million, something he's been obsessed with.

Anyway, I see they are back in court in Dallas in half and hour or so.
I saw that. I expect we'll find out that it was Hicks who shot JR and it's all just a dream.

I heard on BBC that a judge over ruled the injunction and notified Hicks that if he made any further attempts then he would be held in contempt and possible thrown in jail

Yeah, trying to undermine the authority of the court by pursuing an action in a foreign court is likely to piss a judge off somewhat.
