Here's a transfer day favorite:

It goes out to Emilio Insua who's just been sent on a season long rehab assignment to Uncle Franks Academy for Wayward Premiership Youths.

Get better Emilio, so you can come back to us. :dule:

Was an important player for Fulham, will be hard to replace him.

As for Pool, well it doesn't make much sense, replacing Insua with Konchesky. I thought Insua was no longer wanted because he wasn't good enough a defender?

Me too, i was talking to Aaron some days ago about that. I'm sure Liverpool can do better than him. Besides, he's 29.

Not only have Liverpool signed Konchesky but they have also struck deals for youngsters Suso and Adam Hajdu. The former is a young striker from Cadiz, the latter joins from MTK Budapest

Birmingham just signed Martin Jiranek, they have been pretty busy today. :p

Spurs got Pletikosa on loan.

So finally, no goalkeeper is arriving at Emirates atleast in this transfer window ?

3:38 Chris Murphy: It doesn't look like it, Ronnie, and you can guarantee, the first time either Almunia or Mannone throws one in his own net - which let's face it, is inevitable - he's going to get plenty of stick from the Gunners' faithful
