Beats me how that city team is supposed to enter top 4 with that starting XI

And i don't think Tevez is the kind of player who can play alone upfront. Also i don't get how can someone start Milner over Silva.

Yup, he's more of a second striker than an out and out striker. :agree:

Kind of odd Mancini's way of thinking. Last season he lost 4th spot due to his overly conservative approach, at the time, he played a classic 4-4-2 with Bellamy and Adam Johnson as his two wingers. One would have thought that with all the new additions to his squad, he'd be more adventurous. But he is being even more conservative than last season.

IMO, no need for Barry, Milner and maybe Johnson there. It's not like their fullbacks are attacking (three of them are actually CB's ffs)

-----------De Jong - Touré

Balotelli/Johnson------------------Silva

--------Adebayor - Tevez

He could also play a 4-2-3-1, but with that team there's no way i would take an ultra defensive approach.

I rolled a joint and I was going out to smoke it then I saw that Balotelli is not playing. I guess I will go light it anyway.
Blaze it chief! hit one for RAH :D

Made me giggle...This off the BBC Sport Live football page...

1950: Just seen Sheikh Mansour taking in proceedings before kick-off inside Eastlands, and the Man City owner is getting a right royal reception from the home fans. We've got 10 minutes until kick-off - almost time to Sheikh, rattle and roll...? Ahem. I'll get my coat.

1952: This, by the way, is Mansour's first appearance at the club in his two years as owner. Will that inspire the hosts or just give them the Sheikhs? I'll stop now.

I don't see Tévez as a leader figure either.
Cuz he isn't! Anybody who watched the game against Spurs could see that! It was BLATANTLY obvious there. They played so much better when Adebayor came on as he gave them a point of reference.

but heywhat do I care? I'd love to see them flop! Especially after all of the EPL pundits jizzing all over the team.
