You don't beat the smaller teams convincingly most of the time. Usually you squeak by with a goal on aggregate.

But this is just my opinion. I've simply not been impressed and I do think your Prem form is far better.
Andy, i am telling you we have been absolutely mediocre in the league in the past few years. Say what you want about Europe, but small teams don't beat us like they do in the EPL. Watching Arsenal playing away in the EPL could be a cause for cardiac arrests. We are mediocre in the league, and finishing in the top four is no longer a guarantee for us.

In Europe however, i'm sure we'll top our group as always, win the second round game, and then it depends on the opposition in the quarters, if its a good team, we'll flop and crash out, but if its an inferior team, we'll win, whether convincingly or not.

We kept Fabregas, if we avoid injury crises, i think we can finish in the top four. We have a bet on that, i believe Nick. Can't wait to control your avatar :)

Last season they were, with no doubt. And I don't think those 19 teams have improved a lot since then.
True, we'll have to see how Roma do, with Ranieri coaching them from the start of the season, we'll also have to see how well Juve do with a new coach and a number of new additions before passing final judgment, but Nicks post about how all top four teams can beat Arsenal easily, is bullshit.

Fee seems a little too steep for a player of his quality(or lack thereof), but hey at least we're getting someone. Its better than playing Song at CB and its better than having to rely on Djourou.
