Man City have a good team, but they have a ways to go to before they come close to Liverpool's trophy case. Man City is a good team, but in Denmark Liverpool is number one because Danes love history. Typical

The opinions seem to be divided, with the majority being against him. Actually, despite what you here and some others there said about Poulsen having an ok debut, the majority thought he was bad.
What's the negativity about?

Same as here. 80% of the posters don't really have an understanding of the game in a tactical sense. They don't watch anything other than the EPL. So anyone other than Scott Parker is crap.
They envision Poulsen as some box to box hardnosed threat, when in reality he's a player that anchors in front of the defense and distributes to the midfield. They don't understand that so they think he's slow.
