Of course, he's a big guy afterall and i would've kept him even as 4th CB, he is by no means worse or on par with Djorou.

Squillachi is valued around 8m (Euros) btw.
I'd agree with that. Plus he was a positive influence on the others, even if he didn't play. I will never forget how he and Cesc rallied the team in that tough away game against Stoke after the Ramsey incident, when it looked increasingly likely that a Birmingham type scenario would happen again

Fulham are really pushing their luck there. The fuckin nerve.. :D

Thats like us asking for Messi + money to sell Eboue to Barcelona(though i wouldn't take that deal )

Granted Vela has taken forever to impress for us in a meaningful competition(Carling Cup doesn't count), and frankly i have kinda lost hope in him. IMO this season is last chance saloon for Carlos.

Ramsey  poor guy, he was very promising, hopefully he'll return to his form before the injury.

About Campbell, he's one of those players you relish having in your team for their experience and influence on and off the pitch. Specially in a team with a low average age like yours.

I'd agree with that. Plus he was a positive influence on the others, even if he didn't play. I will never forget how he and Cesc rallied the team in that tough away game against Stoke after the Ramsey incident, when it looked increasingly likely that a Birmingham type scenario would happen again
Indeed.

Vela is worth more than 4m despite not being able to impress yet.

Edit: now go to the french thread and provide me streams :(

Manchester City and Besiktas agree £16m deal for Robinho

Robinho has reportedly agreed to join Besiktas, with the club prepared to pay Manchester City £16 million up front and then £10m in future add ons.

The offer means City will recoup a large part of the £32m they paid for the Brazilian, so long as his performances don’t deteriorate at the same rate as they did while he was in England.

Besiktas have been busy in the transfer market this summer, securing the arrivals of Ricardo Quaresma from Inter Milan and Guti from Robinho’s former club Real Madrid and have now set their sights on the Brazilian forward, according to the Guardian.

Besiktas are now managed by Bernd Schuster, who was Robinho’s boss whilst he was in Spain and he is said to be excited by the prospect of reuniting with him.

Schuster said: "I am confident that our chairman will do everything in his power to make this possible."

Besiktas may have to fend off a late bid from German side Schalke, who are also said to be keen on reuniting him with a former Real Madrid team mate in striker Raul.

If true then

Neymar said:
"My father always will want what is best for me. I talked to him and decided to stay.

"Money alone does not bring happiness. I'm happy here and I want to continue being so.

"It was a complicated decision, very difficult. But God gave us the wisdom and power to make the best decision.

"Now it's time to only think about Santos and winning more titles."
Another God lover from Brazil, but more importantly, I love that he is staying in Brazil and ignoring money. Great decision for his career.

Wenger has identified Squillaci as a candidate to strengthen his defence at Emirates Stadium but has hinted that an imminent deal is unlikely. It is reported that Squillaci has an asking price of around 8 million.

"He is one of the players we look at," Wenger said. "With central defenders we are short number-wise, so we look at him, but we are far from being close to signing him."

Ya thats him. :D

The guy isn't a great but he's strong, fast and is good in the air, which is exactly what we need. He might even bench Koscielny.

I'm reading Arsenal fans opinions on Gallas's move to the Spuds, its surprising how little most Arsenal fans care about that moaning bitch
