We've been interested in him for a long time, and were actually very close to signing him last summer. We have a right to hijack the deal 
I'd like to have him at Arsenal, we have nobody that is capable of effectively playing on the right hand side of our three man attack. Nasri isn't a winger and Theo is just not good enough.

I think we want him more as a support striker for when Torres comes back and to play by himself for now.

Knowing Wenger, he probably has been watching him since he was 12
He'd probably do well alongside Torres. Under the right circumstances and with enough support from midfield he might do well as a lone striker, but i doubt that very much. IMO he can't play as a lone striker.

Our midfield is set for now.
I'd take 15 million plus Cambiasso.
If we get 30 million, I'm sure we'll get to play with around half. With us needing a destructive midfielder who can compete in a central midfield with Gerrard, Lucas, Aquilani. 15 million to spend, Spearing on the pot this season, and Shelvey in the hole. Considering we're going to play some form of 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1
