I am somewhat familiar with them as I am a Sporting Fingal fan :p

They're the best team in Ireland on their day and should but on a good display only losing 2 or 3-0.

Eamo won't be starting though,

probably Clarke, O'Brien, Hawkins, Browne, Fitzgerald, Finn, McFaul, Williams; Byrne, Crowe, Kirby in a 4-3-3, like Adrian said, possession football and attack a la Barca

Come on you Ravens!
Why isn't "Ayman" starting?

Why am i not surprised? :D

They were talking about him in a Libyan forum as one of "our" players playing abroad, and they were the ones that told me about the game today, i even assumed he went to Ireland from Libya, but i gather he's born there and has Irish citizenship, no?
He was born here and has even played for Ireland at under-age levels.

That's not official, he may start seeing as O'Neill actully got left behind.
I'd say he will start because he has European experience.

Good. I hope it didn't come across like I was doubting your football aptitude or something btw :p
I know you wouldn't do that

I want to see him play, hopefully he starts.

I just googled him, ya, he's Irish.

We don't have lots of immigrants though, thats why i assumed he was Libyan.

Ya but these guys are world class managers, nobody is saying Mancini is world class. We're just saying that he's a good coach, he isnt as bad as he's made out to be.
Good coaches win shit and that's why many believe even with a much better improved City, Mancini will in fact win shit. Hell, it will be an accomplishment if he finishes 4th.

Well he's better than Mark Hughes. We've established that, yes? :D
Not according to Tevez anyway :p

How the hell will City play now?

Given
Boateng Kompany Touré/Lescott Kolarov
Silva Touré Barry/De Jong/Ireland Johnson
Tevez Adebayor/New

Or have I missed any players?

Defense: Boateng Kompany Toure Kolarov

Midfield: Johnson Toure De Jong Silva

Attack: Tevez Adebayor

If Mancini continues playing a classic 4-4-2

You reckon they'd play him upfront as a support striker? If they don't sell Tevez i cant see Mancini benching him or Adebayor

Liverpool are close to signing Loic Remy.

Will be interesting to see how he does for Liverpool, he was rarely given a chance in Lyon, even though he was dubbed as one of Lyons more promising youngsters, but players like Benzema and Ben Arfa got the nod ahead of him. He made them regret not giving him a chance though, last season Nice beat Lyon 4-1, he scored a goal and gave one of his best performances ever, i will always remember how he just toyed with Lyons defense that day.

He's very quick, he's a good dribbler and he can score goals, i'm not sure what system Hodgson is going to deploy, but Remy is more of a support striker cum winger. He can play upfront, but not as a lone striker.

We have always been interested in getting him, and we almost bought him last season if it hadn't been for his injury.

I liked Loic Remy when I saw him playing for France in the 2007 Toulon Tournament. I haven't seen him play since though.
He has improved a lot since then.

He has been brilliant for Nice in the past two years, but playing for a mid table Ligue team is not like playing for a top European side.
