Im sure its because he Thought the toughest team he remembers playing against was us during his time (when we were great) and he wants a rematch. mismatch really.

I don't think think they'd play a friendly just because of a Marchisio transfer. If this was Del Piero to LA Galaxy I could see it happening, but European competitors don't usually do this.

Gary has said the best competition from back in the day was from Juventus.
