I'd love Arsenal if it wasn't for Wenger, some of their players and all their 'new' fans kitted out in head to toe in Gooner gear in their £100 seat leaving if it's 0-0 after 60 minutes....

Depends on what you consider young, for instance i consider a 28 yrs old keeper young, Granted his position. However, why spend 4m on Schwarzer who'll give you 2 years at max? i'd rather spend 15-20m for a keeper like Frey.
Definitely. Though when you said young, i thought more like a keeper between 20-24. I would be more than happy to pay money for Sebastian Frey.

But those are not the real options we have. Our options is yet another young keeper, or an experienced one like Schwarzer, both won't cost a lot and thats what we're going for.

After seeing Fabianski, i don't want anything to do with young supposedly promising goalkeepers.

I used to enjoy watching Arsenal.

Their Invicible's played with great style, but were still tough enough to grind out results.

I've no time for the Arsenal of recent years, though. It's no coincidence you haven't won anything since Vieira left.
I agree.

ok your turn now :p
:D

I did have a soft spot for Juve growing up. When i first started watching football i even had a soft spot for Del Piero, i loved Vialli and he was my favorite player and the first player i really liked(he was playing for Chelsea at the time), when i found out he used to play for Juve i liked them even more. But because my whole extended family(cousins, uncles etc) are all Juve supporters and Del Piero fanboys, i never supported them. I don't like teams that have too many fanboys, and i usually dislike the teams my friends/family support :D

I do think however, that there are young keepers who are worth it, though they will not come cheap I.E: Adler, Neuer.

Whenever Wenger buys a young keeper i think he's trying to find the next big thing but without having a proper plan b. Reminds me of when Chelsea got Cech for £3.5 million though they had Cudicini.

Wenger won't go for keepers like Adler and Neuer, they would cost him too much, and he rarely if ever likes to spend on keepers.

No, its not like that at all. :D

Its something i can't control, i don't like teams that my friends/family support.

So you decided to support Arsenal?
Where i'm from, there are very little Arsenal supporters. People support Barcelona and Real Madrid here. In my home country, everybody supports the Italian NT and Juve and believe that Del Piero and Cannavaro are the best thing since sliced bread.

So you just found a team that, at that time, were very successful in the ELP.

Could easily have been Chrlsea or the Man U's, no?

I didn't find any team. Arsenal found me :touched:

It was a mixture of me loving Theirry Henry and Arsene Wenger's brand of football at the time.

So you'll be cheering for the New Yorkers now? Going all yank in the streets of Sharjah waving uncle Sam's flag and wearing those boxers?

As if half the Juve supporters didn't start supporting Juve because of DP

I'll certainly try to catch some of his MLS games though.

I started because of Zidane, even before I realized there was a Del Piero :D And the thing is, I used to hate France  It's only when they played that final against Brazil that I wanted them to win, you know being the Brazil hater that I am. But I always had something special for Zidane.
