Hodgson did well with Fulham, it must be said. But the biggest side he's ever managed was Inter, in which he was mediocre with during the 90's. It will be interesting to see how he does with this Liverpool.

I think he'll be out when we get the new owners, unless he's incredibly successful like wins the Prem or something. But he's a decent option for the interim.

Valencia CF and Manchester City have reached a deal to transfer David Jiménez Silva to the Premier League club, pending the passing of a medical. The player is currently in South Africa on international duty with the Spanish football team, and would like to thank the Valencia CF fans for their support. "It is a very particular situation, because I am leaving behind the club of my life -in which I have grown as a player and as a person- but joining a big Premier League project in Manchester City. I have nothing but thanks to offer Valencia, my teammates, ttraining staff and fans. They have given me so much and I hope to be able to say a proper goodbye shortly. Amunt València!. Valencia CF wish the player all the best in this new stage of his career, and would like to underline his exemplary behaviour during his long spell in our club.

Silva is more of a professional and he's always been more consistent than Robinho, he might have some difficulties adapting at first, but i am sure he will shine eventually. He's real quality imo

He'll cope eventually, even Modric was too lightweight when he first came to the Prem, look at him now, he's one of Tottenhams best players.
