City will lose pts against some of those teams that Chelsea spanks 6:0. That's where they will lose ground on the top 2 clubs.
This season, yes. But IMO their objective should be CL and not more this year.

Next year with a couple of signings they can aim for everything when this team gels and when they get to know each other.

Were Paul Robinson, Robert Green and the likes as promising as Hart before they were called up for the NT?
    I was only joking :D

Playing for two different clubs and with different defenders could be a problem, but for an in form goalkeeper there should be no difference for which team he plays.

Although, the pressure might change things, especially for a younger keeper.

Robert Green was decent, Robinson was quite good before joining Tottenham. None of them were as good as Hart is right now, not even close. Neither of them were ever the best keepers in the PL over the course of a whole season.

Until he puts the English jersey on. That's where they all die.
Don't be too sure. As soon as he pulls on tge England jersey and butter finger gloves, normal device will be resumed.
Hart comes across as a cocky bastard, which is why I think he'll become a top 'keeper.

The other 'promising' English 'keepers have been mentally fragile and have allowed mistakes and pressure to get to them.

According to the English Press they were.

Hart is the first young English 'keeper I've ever been impressed by.

Can anyone give me a link with the Man City vs L'Pool highlights? Can't seem to find any on youtube.
    Goals are here:

    Can't see general highlights, though.

Liverpool deservedly lost because they played Lucas instead of Poulsen.
I'm not sure Poulsen is fit enough to play a game like that yet.

It was virtually impossible for Liverpool to play against Man City's packed midfield, because they were playing a straight 4-4-2 with two wide men and two strikers who don't come deep to get the ball or play with their back to goal.

They were bound to be overrun in the middle of the park.

Dammit. I was hoping we'd thrash the scum.
Liverpool were shite, both tactically and individually.

The Hodge said Poulsen's big task at the moment is fitness. No thanks to Juve.

I didn't see the match, but I can tell you the 4-4-2 is pretty dumb to play when none of our "wingers" can actually provide width and cross the ball. But since Poulsen isn't fit, Mascherano is having a break down, and Aquilani is vacationing for the winter in Torino I guess two rows of 4 is "a" solution. Losing away isn't a big surprise, but I would have preferred to have scored or taken a few scalps.

I also think it was a bad decision to play a concussed Agger over a healthy Aurellio.

Also, just realized that we're down to three central midfielders.

If Aurelio was fit I would have played him in central midfield and dropped one of the strikers.

Did Balotelli play today? Was he good?
    Didn't play because of injury.
