Obertan has always been a player that never looked like he was going to realize his potential while at Bordeaux. I have to say however, he has improved at United. I think he has a future with them.

As for Obertan, yes he was loaned out by Bordeaux to Lorient, as he never impressed Blanc in his time at Bordeaux. I watched him play for Lorient a few times, they played him mostly as a forward, he did rather well for them actually.

Disagree with the consistency, he dips in and out of games a lot with his end product. I get the impression that his feet are usually thinking quicker than his head. Nani and Giggs are both doing well.

Interesting. I liked him in the U21, and only saw him come on for 10 minutes in England and look extremely nervous.
