Thats will happen. We have a abundance of good midfielders yet only 2 good leftbacks. We will miss Bridge at the World Cup if Cole does not make it. Shame.

I don't know, the press seem to think that Barry didn't play well enough in his previous international games as a left back to be considered, but it could happen unless we see him go with a new guy. Barry for me would be like Lescott there, competent to a certain level but you wouldn't want him up against the top guys.
