Probably just mere rumors, but I ABSOLUTELY HOPE that those rumors are true. Such a development would be the best moment in football for me since we beat Spain this summer!

What a cunt that guy is.

Nobody should judge Drogba on his performances against us. When playing against us, he's better than Messi and C.Ronaldo put together, its just a one off, and you just know that every time we play Chelsea, he's going to do the same thing.

The last time we beat Chelsea, Drogba wasn't playing.

Oh and fuck Arshavin, the overrated little pansy boy.

It certainly made me smile, with conviction, and validation, when I read of Ancelotti's comments regarding Rooney being currently the best player in the world...I would agree with him, wholeheartedly. Though for many years he has already been in the top handful of players in the world game...It has taken a while for him to truly step out of Ronaldo's shadow, but now he has done that, and the rest of the team have caught him up, at least in terms of average form...he looks back to his very best. Pure quality...In terms of creativity, drive, spirit, and shooting...nobody comes close presently. Vive Le Rooney!

There are rumours that poor JT has been betting on matches and could be banned from football for life.

Drogba is the best Striker in the Premiership by a country mile, and one of the top in Europe. Wenger was a moron in what he said about him because it's came back to hurt him on more than one occassion.

Don't get me wrong, even though I really don't like Rooney at all, I do rate him close to being the best, but that statement is just funny.

The statement is obviously wrong but Rooney is an excellent player, among the top players in the world at the moment and he's having the best season of his career. Anyone who doesn't consider him as one of the best strikers of the world (the most in form of them presently) has to be either blind or American/Man City fan :D

People say that English media and people tend to overrate Rooney but they will eat their words if Barcelona or Real go to spend a hell amount of money for him.

Don't quite think that makes any sense. If Real pays 100M for the clown that would still make him overrated.

And Rooney said he doesn't want to leave England anyway.

I hope he stays in England and dies in a car accident.

Doesn't change the fact to be honest. You say Rooney is being overrated by English people and media and I say that if Real or Barca spend around 100M for him, it means that people out of England too believe that he's an extremely invaluable player.
