Congratulations Fred, you're one lucky bastard to have Cesc in your team man.

Thanks, indeed we are lucky to have Cesc in our team, we're also lucky that we have Wenger who can pick out and nurture talents like these.

fakin sex secs shmecs cesc fabregas killed my bet :(

I told you we wouldn't win without him, as soon as he stepped on the pitch, well everything went downwards for A.Villa.

Indeed, would be great to see Hull beat them.

Fred awesome display by Arsenal today against Villa, who have the best defensive record in the league.
Indeed, a very good second half performance, this is the first time we beat Villa at the Emirates, very good performances from Diaby, Vermaelen, Song and above all, little Cesc.

Ya. I was disappointed by Eduardo yet again though, he has been so disappointing this season, one of our worst players this season imo.

If Wenger is willing to buy a good enough replacement, i wouldn't mind.

I'm not giving up on him for his lack of ability, i do not think he lacks in ability at all actually, its probably a mental thing. Because a player of his quality does not go to being mediocre overnight, but the problem is, i just do not see him fitting in our newly adopted 4-3-3.

To be honest I could see it happening only if Wenger goes out to bring in a Gignac or something similar. But it's very odd I don't know, playing him out on the wing may have had something to do with it, because as you said he couldn't loose his composure and touch just like that.

Well actually he was given a chance to play in the middle a couple of times and he was worst than when played on the wing.

He doesn't do well as a main striker upfront alone, he needs to play off another striker(like Adebayor in 2008).

I recall all the Song and Diaby slaggers off.
They are eating their own words, and Brendtner will make them eat their own tongues.
Diaby's problem was never talent, it was his inconsistency. He can pull off some great performances, goals and skills from time to time, but can he keep it going for an extended run of games? I strongly doubt it.

Bentdner has done nothing to make anyone eat his words. I hear a lot about the good season he's been having?

I think people just tend to overrate his performances a bit because they are much better than last season. He still is not good enough to be playing for us, he hasn't shown otherwise this season.

True, he's a lot better as a second striker. I dunno maybe he just needs more time to get back into it.

I'll say it for you Fred, Nicklas Bendtner is a fucking joke.

You really don't rate him Andy?

Of course by "rating" him, i don't mean overrating him like the English pundits do. He isn't anywhere close to being as good as Torres, Villa, Ibrahimovic and co like they'd make you believe. But he's a very good forward, no doubt about that imo.

His finishing leaves a lot to be desired and he does look like a truck ran over him, but other than that he's got a lot of good qualities going for him

Torres and villa are useless when they dont score. Drogba, rooney and Ibra arent.

Ibra is world's best for me.

I rate rooney as the 5th best forward in the world. And this year he is proving doubters about his goal scoring abilities wrong.
1 goal and 2 assists against hull btw.

I watched the game against Hulll, he had a mixed game, but in the end it was a positive contribution from him because of his goal and his brilliant assist for Berbatov's goal.

His performance wasn't the best though, he made too many mistakes(he was responsible for Hull's goal) and he lost the ball too much.
