I don't understand how some people here are saying United played a bad game?
Tactically Fergie played the game the way it was supposed to be played. He had a makeshift backline playing against arguably the strongest forward duo in Europe this season. So he played 3 DM's, he also had Valencia tracking Cole all game and not giving him the space to go forward and provide the width Chelsea needed so much.
United stifled Chelsea's midfield and starved Drogba from getting service. They even had a couple of good opportunities. Anderson played a great game once again against one of the big four(Probably the only time he bothers to show up) and really gave Essien a run for his money.
They gave away too many fouls close to their area though, for that they should be blamed. But truth be said, Chelsea's goal was offside.
Overall United played a better game imo.
