Yes that was certainly the case last game against Chelsea. But i don't think it will matter that much when they play inferior teams. Grosso is poor defensively as well but that is rarely exposed until Juve play against the better teams.

I really don't think so, most of the players we sold, were either replacable in Wengers eyes(Adebayor, Henry), or they wanted to leave(Flamini, Hleb and Toure).

He has a tiny transfer budget - and it's not gotten better with the move to Cashburden Grove. It means he can't buy, which means he has to lean on the players he has and develop his younger players, which leaves the likes of Henry, Vieira and even Toure sick of forever carrying a young team. Sure, he does a fine job of replacing them, but that's not to say that he wanted to.

I don't think he wanted to sell these players. But he let them go because he thought he could replace them. The former two would certainly not force a move if Arsene was insistent on keeping them.

Yup people need to be a little more realistic. Rafinha was the only other viable option, and he would probably have come for 9-14M i reckon. But there isn't much between them, plus Johnson is proven in the EPL so he is less of a risk, and naturally would adapt faster. So its not as bad as some people make it to be(Me included admittedly) the Johnson signing.
