Not going to happen I'm afraid.
I'm afraid not. They are a hard working and well organized team. They'll probably end up in the top 6.

He has lots of practice from his Newcastle days. Poor Shay. If he ever got to play behind a real defence, he wouldn't know what to do.
We should have got him when we had the chance. Country miles ahead of Almunia and co.

I don't think rafa had much of a choice with Alonso, he clearly wanted to go, had handed in a transfer request, there was pressure on him from the owners to take the money, and Alonso was never going to be worth that much again. Not to mention that when he's unhappy he plays like shit

I think your right here, he didn't have much of a choice in regard to the Alonso matter. Alonso wanted to leave and he was insistent on leaving. No use in keeping a want-away player.

Alonso was gone after the Barry saga.

City's offer was 12M Pounds, it wasn't that high. I'm gutted that we didn't go for him. 12M is a good price to pay for a quality midfielder like Barry.

But that was before Alonso's move.
Rafa might have got it wrong.
Barry signed, then Alonso moved,

As for Arsenal, I think Arsene thought he's over the age limit :)
