Friedel has been very good/great almost everytime i watched him in these last God knows how many years. Either i always catch his best performances or the guy is a very good goalkeeper.

Americans in general produce very good GKs and maybe some were/are better than Friedel, but he is my favorite American keeper.

He's right up there with Keller in my view. And Friedel is damn good and also pretty consistent.

Howard has a chance of becoming better than Brad, and hopefully he will.

Think that might be because you don't need to grow up with football as a GK in the same way as an outfield player. An athletic and intelligent person whose been doing some other more typical American sport can still thrive as a keeper.
