Big win for our boys, surprisingly good game by the duo of Song and Bentdner/ I was going on and on before the match to my dad and cousin on how terrible this player is, and suddenly he gives a performance like this. Doesn't mean he's a good player yet, he has a lot to do before he erases the memory of his horrendous two seasons with Arsenal.

Song was showing promising signs by the end of last season, and he had a very good game too today. I hope this is a sign for things to come.

Strange thing was like Osman said, Arshavin who is one of Arsenal's few quality players played a poor game today despite the relative ease in which the game was won.

Everton were shambolic today, there is no doubt about that at all, sure they made it too easy for Arsenal, it was a complete horror show. But lets not go overboard with the knee jerk reactions here, Everton's defense is normally a tough nut to crack, one of the more solid teams in England actually. Anyone whose actually watched them before will testify to that.

@Andy, defending in the EPL can look quite horrendous sometimes, mainly because most defenders have close to zero technical ability(especially british defenders). But overall the defending in the EPL is nowhere near as terrible as the defending in the Liga. Take a look at some of Athletico, Valencia or Real Madrid's defending last season. Absolutely disgraceful defending. Everton on the other hand have a rather good defense most of the time.

saw the game. The toffees got a good hammering from all angles. I was impressed by Song. He really did look good in that anchor role.
