City boss says options gives him a Plan B

City's Premier League goals were in the main shared around last season with only record signing Robinho reaching double figures.

Stephen Ireland, Elano, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Felipe Caicedo all chipped in with their fair share of goals as City finished 10th in the Premier League table.

City have revamped their attack this season after landing Roque Santa Cruz, Carlos Tevez and Emmanuel Adebayor in deals worth an estimated £67million.
Focus

Hughes is hoping that one of his new signings can grab the bull by the horns and score regularly throughout the campaign.

"What we did last season was spread goals throughout the team, but we didn't really have a focus in attack," explained Hughes.

"Nobody really grabbed the shirt and we're hoping that the quality that we have brought in will help us to have that focus, plus the ability to change games when maybe Plan A isn't going well."

Hughes is currently preparing his charges on their pre-season tour of South Africa and has conceded in an ideal world his summer spending would already be complete.

While City have been busy landing Gareth Barry and Stuart Taylor, in addition to their trio of attacking additions, Hughes remains keen to sign Chelsea's John Terry.

Waiting game

Hughes has conceded no further talks are planned with Chelsea over the England captain until they return home to England.

"At the beginning of the season, we wanted all the players in the building to start training, but we are prepared to wait," he continued.

"It is all about giving the deal the opportunity to develop.

"We want to strengthen our defence but we will concentrate on what we are doing here (in South Africa) first.

What, bribe the police or the state?

This is a criminal trial, not someone suing Gerrard?
Wont argue no more...i have no idea what the laws are in the U.K i just know that here in Jordan even murders can be settled outside of court by the tribes.
