psht, anyone who says Rafa's a moron needs to take a step back from hating Liverpool. Yes, he's spent a lot of money, but one just has to look at how the club has gone from being lucky to make the UEFA cup, to being one of the most dangerous clubs in Europe. Has he screwed up some things? of course, he's far from perfect, but there aren't many managers I'd rather have.

I for one would love to have him at Juve...he sure will kick Mou's ass.

'pool are definitely more dangerous in Europe under him, but are they really any better in the league?

yeah! under Houllier, we were no match for the big teams, and were frequently losing at home against really bad opposition. We had no organization, and were miles away from challenging for the title. While we've been horrendous this season, and clearly still aren't consistent enough for the league, Benitez has learned and improved his league management, and I'm willing to give him time, since he's stubborn and intelligent, and we've already improved so much.
What so many people don't get is that while Benitez has spent a lot of money, and people compare it to what fergie or chelsea have spent, but people don't realize that when you've been spending major money every year for 20 years, you only need to upgrade certain positions occasionally, but with Benitez, he's had to improve the whole team in a far shorter time, as well as dealing with much more difficult competition than ever before

There is no denying what Rafa has done. We're a much better team under him than we were under Houlier. However, it seems Rafa has reached a plateau. At this point fresh eyes may be the best fix for the situation. It's obvious there needs to be a mix up of tactics and attitude. I hate to say it but Rafa may have taken us as far as he can, especially with our current owners.
