I wouldn't blame him if he went. Going to Madrid basically gives you a cut and dry shot at the title as far as the talent level in the squad. Tons of cash to spend. Basically you're the man as long as you win.

Though if he took Fab with him, the move would be absolutely devastating.
Wenger is one the best managers in the sport but personaly i don't think he will be great in madrid.

The pressure there is much much greater than arsenal. those on charge of arsenal are not too demanding. In madrid its a totall different story, you have to win big or you're out of the club (shit even if you win you still will be fired if you can't entertain the fans "cappello")

Frankly i can't give two shits, its not like we were winning titles the last 4 years. Hopefully whoever comes in, makes the board know that winning trophies is not possible with the pathetic batch of allegedly promising youngsters in Arsenal's disposal. A year in the Uefa cup will probably get those greedy cunts in our board to invest some real money.

Wenger leaving would help Arsenal in the long run, but he has created a very strange situation. He'll lose if he leaves and he'll lose if he stays.

I will never forget what he did for Arsenal and we would have probably been a mid-table team without him. He made the new stadium possible and he made qualifying to the CL almost a god given right(which is new to Arsenal). So i will forever be grateful to him. But he's obviously lost the plot, he has been given too much freedom by the board, and he's been getting too little criticism from the fans. Basically he just isnt held accountable for any of his failures. I think it is best for all parties if he leaves. We will suffer for a year or two and possibly even not qualify for the CL once, but in the long run, it is best for all parties.

I luuuurrve the way you find a silver-lining in every cloud.
I think he's right though, If arsenal want to go forward they should replace wenger. He made arsenal what they are right now but they need something new to step up a level and start winning titles.

But they still need to spend more if they really want to go forward ....

Standard & Poor's downgraded its outlook on the UK to negative from stable citing a sharp decline in its public finances. The UK said last month the country's general debt burden may get close to 100%of gross domestic product and stay there for awhile. The agency projects the potential fiscal toll on the goverments support for the banking system which S&P puts at up to 145 billion pounds ($226.2 billion). A debt burden of this level would in S&P view be unable to sustain a AAA rating.

BLOOM! Take that, motherfuckers.
