I just don't see why teams appoint managers who are totally unknown in terms of management.

It has maybe got a 20% chance of success, where hiring a proven manager offers a much safer option.
well the premiership has the money to hire,sack and pay off managers if it doesnt work, it is a zamparini paradise, but i for one am in favour of developing the next generation of managers, there are some exciting ones out there now. Even proven managers dont necessarily work, though the chances of success are considerably higher, but i think club boards are now turning more towards energic,younger, managers with new ideas and methodology to the way they conduct the team.

This throws our tie up in the air, Chelsea potentailly could hit some good form off the back of this, on the other hand...
I would have fancied our chances vs scolari's Chelsea even though we've not been doing too well.
