The board are sinking the club without a doubt. It will be interesting to see how many Spanish players we keep should Rafa be told to find other pastures in the summer.
then we shud make him an offer he can't refuse!!! & get rid of that clown sitting on our bench & i'm not talkin about chimenti

Liverpool beat the Russians 2-0 today, two good goals by El Nino.

Chelsea played a poor game, but were treated unfairly, as i believe Lampard's sending off was never a red. Scolari has done Chelsea more damage than good, their defense looks vulnerable this season, under both Grant and Jose Chelsea had one of the toughest defensive lines in all of Europe.

I wouldn't say that actually. Ferdinand get's way too much credit and praise in my opinion, when Vidić is out there putting his head, and body on the line the whole time. Evra is Evra. And I won't get started on Gary Neville.. Anyways, if I'm right this record stands when Ferdinand is injured, and Evans has stood in.

Ferdinand normally stays back, and reads the game, thats his way of defending i see nothing wrong with that.

I believe you are underrating both Evra and Rio. The former being one of the top leftbacks in Europe, and is a better defender than he gets credit for, he leaves a lot of gaps behind, but when he's in position he's a tough defender to get past imo.

Rio is one of the best defenders in Europe, theres no doubting that if you ask me, he reads the game very well, he's a physical presence and is brilliant in the air. But Man Utd's defense isnt about individuals, imo Fergie has got them to be a very strong unit that is almost impossible to get past.

Aside from the wrongs and wrongs of the refereeing decisions in the Liverpool v Chelsea game, I think it is very poor how cautiously the teams played, particularly Chelsea.

As far as I'm concerned, that was a game which both teams needed to win to have a chance at catching Man Utd.

I agree that the red was harsh, especially considering the game and how he had been calling the fouls before. Liverpool deserved to win anyway, but that certainly helped us. Benayoun is making a strong case to start, Kuyt has really come down after his excellent start to the season

Now I'm putting on my Liverpool shirt and going to play some football!
with the same chelsea fan I watched the match with, i'll have to watch my ankles

anyone see that ridiculous stamp in benayoun's back by bosingwa whilst was defending the ball at the corner flag, that was utterly disgusting, i dont know how on earth the linesman who was standing right next to it didnt give any decision
