That is given.. and ever since the very beginning Barca were nice to watch. In today's modern football, roughness and strength is a key elemnt. But for their game style they don't need that..

No, that's not what it's about. It's that they market themselves as the whole more than a club bs, like they're supposed to be a more worthwhile organization than all the other clubs. It's obnoxious, and it produces fan behavior that is too. And that's the case regardless of how you play, what the tactics are or even who the players are.

so Maher supports chelsea? interesting.. i never new.. i thought he's a barca die-hard..

for me, it is much less than that.. but its nice to just pick a side in big games, makes the game enjoyable at times..
the forum would crash if one decided to compile a list of teams that Maher likes/supports

i predicted an arsenal win, chelsea are a funny old team like arsenal, but when the sh*t hits the fan and a big match like this occurs, arsenal usually come up trumps like they did against man utd. chelsea are a team that easily crumbles when chasing the game, hats off to arsenal, but i predict another slip up for you fred next week ;)

Arsenal do just fine when they are playing a team that will try to play football.

They still won't be able to win games away to Blackburn/Stoke/Bolton regularly, because they will get bullied out of the game.

Fred, from what I read chelsea were hardly robbed! any team that fails to get a shot on target for 30 minutes while behind at home deserves to lose! as well as terry and ivanovic deserving to be off. adebayor was crap, but van persie's a very good player. and he's clearly been working on his right foot :D
