You support the one that needs the win most.
How do you decide that?

I have to say the "gloryhunter" attack is the most pathetic kind of fake elitism I've ever seen. The fact that someone who spent 20 years going to matches and going to the pub with his drinking buddies talking about football and generally hasn't accomplished a damn thing in his whole life (ie. the model supporter) can look down on someone who gets excited about the sport for other reasons about himself is just about the most pathetic thing ever. What's next, homeless people in Europe making fun of starving kids in Africa who have it even worse?
I don't get this gloryhunter attack. I feel it contradicts with someone supporting Juve and not be a gloryhunter because Juve's going to win trophies sooner of later. So if I don't want to be a gloryhunter I can't support Juve or any of the top clubs because they are all fighting for trophies and therefore gloryhunters.
Or is it like, when people say gloryhunter they mean the ones who switch clubs. I do that in Eng and Esp often because I can't manage to like one of them for too long and the one I support don't necessarily go on to be the winning team. Or I switch when they play Juve or support the team least harmful to Juve's prospects (like Spurs or ManCity- no CL or Chelsea - 0 CL over Liverpool or ManU adding to their already big trophy cabinet and going out of reach - talking about no. of CL titles). I am always switching teams in Eng and Esp.
Anyways, my point is I want to be a Juve fan forever and be a gloryhunter as well. I don't think wishing that Juve wins trophies is a bad thing over not winning trophies.

Hull - Man city is funny stuff, they are having a "Burdisso" showdown, 1-1 and both goals all because of Burdisso fanboys of a defenders litterally handing it to the striker :D

He's a better captain than Robinho, but if Man city are to go forward they shouldnt have a defender like him as a starter.

Egoistic Brazilian?? what are you on about?? Have you watched any of City's games?? Robinho is keeping his head down and working hard for the team.

Robinho is quite the teamplayer, more then usual IMO, in City. He has relished the role of being the leader and impact player of this team. Too bad their coach, and some of their players are quite lacking.

But I find it absolute pathetic Robinho is the captain. Been there two months, and he gets to be captain over starting players like Dunne, Richards, Ireland etc. Player who bleed for the shirt and come from the academy. Making him the captain reeks of the desperate measure of small teams who dont want to lose their star and try everything to appease him.

I hope they continue to suck, but not so much that Hughes is fired. Because if they get another coach, then its perhaps likely Elano gets to play again. I rather he keeps being disgruntled so we can try for him in January ;)

I don't claim to know better than the next person and my pronunciation could be enough to make a Dutchman hurl, but I say "kite".

I agree. Getting Elano would be great.

I don't know Dutch but I say something in the lines of "Köyt". I believe that's more correct than those English pronunciations. I mean, where do they get the W from?
