we're playing without:
gerrard, reina, arbeloa, aurelio, masch, kuyt, keane, riera, carra, plus alonso only played a little, and agger and torres are only recently back. basically, the only person who's close to being one of our better players is Babel, torres and agger being back from injury, hardly count

so we're playing without at least 9 of our best.
That's your fault.

But "your" side is still superior than what the Yids are fielding.

Huddlestone is the name i hear for the first time in my life. I swear.
Dawson i think i know or at least i've heard about him because i have absolutely no idea how that guy looks like.
And to think the Yids thought he was as good as Cesc when they first bought him

what?! no way it is, with torres only on to get back fitness. Hyppia is so fucking slow a geriatric in a manual wheelchair could out-sprint him! our goalie is pathetic, our full-backs are some of the worst in the league, plessis looked good last year against arsenal, but has been crap since then. lucas has played well, el zhar is a fringe player, and darby and insua are youth/barely reserves

I rate Huddlestone fairly high. Dawson was a fixture at Man City for a long time. He was a "big" transfer for Tottenham this season.
Huddlestone is a bit talented, but overall he's a shit player. Dawson was a Tottenham player for a long time, i dont think he ever played for Man City. Unless your talking about Corluka??

I think we got him for 1 mil or so. I guess we needed the "depth" and were hoping for a big upside. I would have saved the cash and promoted Pacheco or Nemeth.

agreed, although i can understand. Nemeth is injured, and pacheco is not ready physically. i watched him play earlier this season though, and he's very talented! also think insua should be used. dossena has been abysmal in every game

You're right I was thinking of Richard Dunne. And Corluka did transfer. At the same time Dawson has been a fixture for a while, even though he hasn't played much this season.

And Tottenham are fielding these guys:

Gomes - Okay keeper
Hutton - Blah
O'Hara - Nothing special
Dawson- Good
Corluka - Good
Lennon - Overrated
Huddlestone- Okay/average
Zokora - Fails to impress
Bale - Good
Campbell - average
Pavlyuchenko - average

Down the middle of the pitch, Pool is solid at the back, with Lukas in midfield, and Torres up top.
