Why do you two say that Pool are playing with youngsters while Tottenham started with a stronger squad ?
Even without Hyypia Liverpool's average age would be 23, same as Tottenham.

good point, i was wrong about the ages. what i should say is that we're playing with fringe players, while they're playing more experienced and better players.

basically, i think they put a stronger side out. the fact that it's that young is impressive

Liverpool are playing Torres, Agger, Babel and Lucas who are all part of the first team squad regularly for Liverpool. Only Plessis and Zhar are youth team members.

well, ok, but torres is just back from injury, and now of the pitch. agger is only recently back from a long-term injury, lucas rarely plays, and yes, babel is 1st team.

Congratulations on your willingness to prove whatever point you're trying to make. However you want to argue it. Liverpool have far more back ups in than Tottenham. Their squad is only a few players away from a full basket of spuds.

Edit: Nevermind. I get what you're saying.

Thats true.

As for the Lucas part, the same can be said about Dawson, Lennon and to some extent Pavluychenko.
