When Ronaldo's back they're going to have a pretty scary lineup, Ronaldo,Tevez, Rooney and Berbatov is not a strikeforce one can take lightly. They'd still struggle without Ronaldo though.

yup, all that happened while Arsene sat on his ass... i think we're the only team out of the big four that has become weaker over the summer instead of strengthening. I doubt we can do better than 4th place this season.

I think Tevez, Berb will be the main team.

Rooney is fading behind these two: maybe pushed out towards the left wing.

Agger, Skrtel, and Carragher are all better than Legro My Position-O.
They're all worse, Andy. Which really tells you something.

You really don't know what you're talking about. You can't bring Legro and Chiellini into the same sentence as Skrtel and Carragher. Sure Chiellini is better than Carragher and Skrtel but Legrottaglie is atrocious and so are his backups. So you're center pairing in defense is basically one player.
The whole point is the combo. Legrottaglie as a player is quite poor, but when supported by Chiellini he's actually solid. Carragher is one of the worst central defenders in the entire game. Luckily he's playing in the EPL, which kind of suits his way of defending, but even then he's a sure problem for 'Pool.

So Everton bought Fellaini for 18,5 M Euros.

18 500 000 € ??? :confused2

Well, some other site mention 16M, whatever it's still a freaking huge amount of money for a 20 year old lad. Sure he's full of talent, probably Europe's best upcoming DM, but still...

EPL = :claire:

The 18.5 is correct.
Now we have two youngsters in EPL, hope they both get enough playing time, can only be good for our NT.

they would have to get rid of Vandereycken first
Maybe Man City would buy him?

More seriously I'm a bit worried for Kompany. I think he's quite a sensible kid and he needs to feel appreciated and followed closely. City doesn't look like the stable club he needs, IMO. I'd very much like to be wrong on this one.

Fellaini, on the contrary, made a very good move. His athletic capacity, his strength and his very strong head-play make him a top candidate to become a leading EPL DM. I think he can handle Everton's level pretty well. He's their most expensive signing ever, so he'll have some pressure, but he can handle it!

True, he is getting way too much credit.

Maybe Man City would buy him?

I think Kopany is able to perform in any league, he jsut needs to stay injury free.
I think he won't be a Man City player for many seaosns, but if he can perform good this season, he will attract many clubs.

Fellaini indeed is made for EPL so he will have to prove his money now, and then we will see in 2-3 seasons if he is good enough for the biggest stage, I think he has the abilities to be a ManU/Chelsea player, he just has to mature a bit.

What's Kompany's best position, CB or DM? He's most likely going to play central midfield for City, as Hamann's getting old and they have plenty of CBs.

Nowadays I'd say DM. He's a defensive player but he has for more technique and insight than a regular CB. Also, he sometimes tries tricks that can cost a lot as a CB (although he does it less today), and his head-game is not his strongest point.

I think he's supposed to be a DM for Man City, that's where he started his first match. He moved to CB during the match when Richards injured himself.

completely correct, he is better as DM then as CB but he can do both.

CB is definitely his best position...but they have Gelson Fernandes and one English dude to play in CM as well
It's definitely not. He's a lot better as a defensive midfielder. In fact, I think it's his only position.
