@ Gray,
I just want to say I did go to Fulham and saw South Korea play. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and though the end result could have been a bit better.

. Anyway, I'll give some brief report on the atmosphere and the game.
Firstly, I have to say Greek support was fantastic. They fan really know how to enjoy the game. There was a period in the second half whereby home-stand asked some question, and those from neutral ground answered back. Magnifico! I want to see the same thing in our national match as well. But Koreans I have to say have similar tendency with us Japanese whereby Girls start to shriek like hell whenever the ball goals anywhere near the goal. I guess neighbours sharing bad habits.
The security wasn't too strict with a lot of empty seats, so me and my Korean friend was just wondering around everywhere changing seat every second. I persuaded my friend to seat on the Greek stand in the second half as it will give better view of Korean attacking play. He and me was real pissed by that time. But after few minutes, he felt somewhat insecure so asked me to move to neutral ground.
The game wasn't too great. As a matter fact, if they showed on Television, I probably would have fell asleep. Nonetheless, being in stadium is always different. I have never been to small stadium such as Craven Cottage, and small size is really good for the atmosphere. You can get real close view of the things, compared to say Bernabaeu, San Siro, or Stadio Olimpico. I don't know the name of your national manager, but man he is big. He was by far the tallest man in the entire stadium. Real cool most of the time, but his trick of bringing player on every 5mins towards the end of match to preserve the lead was the oldest trick you can find in the book.

umpkin:. Greek manager, in contrast, was very animated. Pity that his players didn't look half as interested.
Anyway, some scouting report on the match.
A Korean GK had outstanding match. He made two fantastic saves. The one in the first half was just unbelivable. From the angle we were watching, the Greek player had gaping open goal in front of him to smash the ball in, and yet somewhat the GK had the atheleticism to recover his initial mistake to put a hand in. Fantastic! My friend went mentor after the save.
Based on the obersavation, I feel Park Ji-Sung is way way overrated. I have seen him play for Kyoto so I don't want to diss him too much, but his general play was just not that impressive. You can clearly see on the pitch, Park has limited imagination on the ball. That his biggest difficiency. His work rate isnt anywhere near as it is reputed to be. But one thing he does really well, is to use his body to maximum effect. Because he doesnt have a great ball control, Park has developed a way to shield a ball really well. So despite his lack of technical ability, it is really difficult to take ball off him. But I am still not entirely impressed by his calibre.
On Lee Young-Pyo, I think defensively he is pretty solid. His positioning and intelligence of picking appropriate moment to run is top class. His biggest problem is he has tendency to take several touches on the ball if he can't release the ball instantly thus stopping the flow of attack and allowing opposition to set their defence.
Goods
Seoul Ki-Hyun - He was terrific on the ball, and gave Greek defenders a run about in the entire match. Rarely loosed a ball, and worked hard for the team. Only fault is he doesnt win too much headers (with tendency to close eyes when heading the ball - very bad), and wasn't so active in the final third. But he was the best Korean player on the night IMO. It was great to see him staying on the field whilst his teammates left, applauding his fellow Koreans after the match. A top class pro.
Kim Do-Hyiun (Spelling ?). I first knew him from his blinder against us Japan in East Asia Cup two years ago, where he was the best player on the pitch by quite a distance. I forgot his name so I had to asked my friend, but his quality is someting I shall not forget in any haste. He was by far the most skillful player on the pitch out of all players who participated in the match, and possess outstanding vision. Worked extremly hard for the team, but can't tackle to save his life.
Kim Jin-Kyu. I have seen him in J-League. I always thought him to be bad defender who was excellent going forward. But how did I revise my conception of him after the match. He was real good. I mean real good. I am talking about Hong Myung-Bo (My favorite Asian defender) level here. The boy's positioning sense, distribution is good enough to play in Serie A, EPL, La Liga you name it. He is moving to Europe pretty soon - I think you can book on this.
Bad
Cho Jae-Jin. Another Korean, I know from J-League. All I can say is that, he didn't win too much aerial battle tonight, and his first touch was

worse than mine. And I am not kidding here. I can swear to god that I possess more technical ability than he has. Because his first touch is so bad, it allows defenders to go and risk to win the ball off him. I am disappointed by his performance because I have considered him to be a good player before.
Ugly
Park. I don't think you can dispute this.
Anyway I am off too bed. Alchol is sucking me into bed. BTW, I am somewhat dissapointed by the quality of chicks in the stadium. I went there fancing some romace =).
Congratulations for the victory.
