I just read the teamsheet. Midfield of Gerrard, Alonso, Zenden and Gonzales. Did he seriously play Zenden in the middle and Gerrard wide right?
hes been doing it all season.Gerrard on the left and now on the right since pennant is useless.
Now that sissoko is injured i really dont understand it. He always puts gerrard back in the middle if hes in trouble.
Apparently gerrard isnt happy about it as well.

Why so much anti-arsenal sentiment?

You will find out the truth about the Pardew/Wenger incident in a couple of weeks and then see how 'whiney' arsenal are.

your coach attacked another team's coach! and guess who was the bigger man after the game which ur team lost ? not ur coach.

anyway Ian Dowie is the first casualty in this season, i thought he would be first cause Charlton invested this season and didnt expect to be this bad.

Not in the slightest and quite ill informed actually.

The bigger man was certainly not the one who encroached his opponents area first or the one making a song and dance of a handshake before the game because he needed to look good in front of the cameras after making xenophobic comments about the opposition back in March.

Wenger arrived at Upton Park 30mins early to smooth things over with Pardew. Pardew having spoken to Wenger and shaken hands then continued to make a big deal about offering a hand to Wenger just before the game; nicely in shot of the Sky tv cameras. You'll find that is what Wenger is talking about in his quote after the Liverpool game:

'I am not an image man, and do not need the cameras to say what I think. I do not work here for my image - I work for my club and to win football games.'

Some other things went on during the game and as I already said you will find out what Pardew said to get Wenger so riled in a couple of weeks at the FA tribunal.

It is also worth noting that the handshake Wenger 'turned down' at the end of the game was actually directed at Pat Rice who did actually turn it down.

Maybe they felt thay had shaked hands enough already that day and didn't fancy another false one so Pardew could look good for the cameras.

That isn't to say that we aren't bad losers (quite the opposite actually), but on this one, Pardew was very much in the wrong.

i wasnt only refferring to the handshake at the end of the game i was also talking about the apology after the game from Pardew, but what did Wenger do after the game ? no apologies what so ever, even though he was the one who raised his hand repeatedly.

That isn't to say that we aren't bad losers (quite the opposite actually)
thank you and thats it.

also i want to remind you of last season about wenger's behaviour, at the totenham game, when he almost headbutted martin Jol.:disagree:

Does the name Jean-Benet make you sweat everytime I say it? If so, I know the authorities to which you should turn yourself in.

Roeder hits back
Newcastle United manager Glenn Roeder has hit back at Nigerian FA official Waidi Akanni after he criticised Obafemi Martins’ move from Inter to Tyneside. Akanni claimed that Newcastle were a “loser club” and would ruin his career if he remained. “Who is this guy? I’ve never even heard of him,” fumed Roeder. “As far as we are concerned he is just making trouble and I do not like him poking his nose into Newcastle United’s affairs. I can tell the Nigerian FA that the comments of one of their officials are most unwelcome at a time when we need everyone pulling together.”
