So let me get this straight.

If Nigel Pearson's son, James, had not been caught on camera having sex with (and mildly abusing) thai hookers, Nigel would've probably stayed on as Leicester manager and none of this would've ever happened?

Life is strange sometimes.

I wonder if Newcastle are going to start next season with title ambitions now.

Also, Liverpool

Excusing themselves year after year (for 27 years now!!!), coming up with all sorts of excuses why they never win the league. Even clubs like Blackburn and Leeds have won the english title since Liverpool last won it. And now even Leicester :D Liverpool is much more laughable than Arsenal, for me.
but their decline occurred a long time ago. They seemed to have a resurgence under Benitez for a while but then he sold alonso and the team lost all its cohesion and collapsed again.

Arsenal have no excuse. They kept all their players which is already a group that should be able to challenge for the title in a normal season. They could have bought many players cause they had the money. They just chose not to (apart from buying GK). All their more consistent competitors collapsed. And to top it all off they seem content with what they did this season. The team lacks ambition. If finishing 3rd or 4th is considered a successful season for you that keeps you satisfied then you do not perceive yourself as a big club, you think of yourself as an outsider. This mentality permeates throughout the players and the coach. Even large sections of the fans (Wenger supporters) have the same self perception problem.

Its a shame that City sees its season as a disaster despite making top 4, while Arsenal does not. That is while City is at least in the CL semis while Arsenal flopped there too again while feeling satisfied.
