Im not comparing the league, i am saying that Ranieri has been in the league before and its not like he is a rookie and suddenly this rookie manager took the league by storm. He has learned from his experience and if you been following EPL this season it is clearly obvious that Ranieri is no longer the Tinkerman. Infact, they made a stat and Leicester came top among the teams that started with the same set of players every game.
You were just saying how great the Serie A defense and i just brushed you off with two most embarrassing defeats in CL for a for a second placed Serie A team.
Anyway, I was just saying how entertaining the league is and that is reflected on the leagues commercial value. I also want Serie A to come back to its 90's level, but for now for me EPL is the best league in terms of entertainment.

2000-2004 EPL was at the dawn and start of its prime in absolutely domminating european football. Ranieri took the lead when the oilmoney milionaires came in. Ranieri is an excellent coach and tactician, but its hard to make players who are so full of themselfs work hard for the team. Yet he brought chelsea their first trophee's in quite a while, and laid out an excellent foundation for Mourinho.
Today, EPL is an absolute shithole of incredibly overrated teams. Just look at manchester united's lineup. HOW SHIT IS THAT LINEUP. look at the selections of most EPL "top teams" and its so poor or unbalanced.
Then take a look at how sick the EPL rosters were in the mid to late 00's. Arsenal, Manchester, Chelsea, Liverpool, stacked as fuck and City was just emerging. Today City is the only team with a high quality roster in every line.
In the EPL of scholes, gerrard, henry, lampard etc, the top teams had miles advantage on the minnows. Today a minnow has TEN FUCKING POINTS lead.
Yes, its the most retarded statement since some politician said in the late 30's that "We dont need to act, we can manage Hitler with politics and talks".

I have not mentionned "the great serie a defences" because currently, there is only one. Napoli and Roma have poor defences. Tho Roma is working on it.
The EPL is only entertaining if you love watching mistakes all over the place and players scoring from those, rather then excellent counters or attacking moves.

And then there are the highlights i'm talking about, where actually, and this takes a bit of balls to do so, analysts love to highlight the mistakes made by the players.

Just your statement that if something generates billions of Euros of income that is determinant of quality is nonsensical. People buy products for various reasons and sometimes the quality is the least important one for their decision. Look, the EPL does some amazing marketing. They also have tons of money to pay the highest transfer fees and salaries, so the talent level is at least theoretically among the highest in the world.
That said, I don't think anyone can argue that this season is evidence that the end product can turn to shite sometimes. Really, for all the money the league is burning up, the end product is pathetically at the Serie A rate or worse this year.
Everyone is thrilled about Leicester City, and they should be. But the other side of the same coin is that the league this season is also a product of colossal mismanagement and a waste of money. For all the money going into the product, heads really should roll around the league for the crappy end product they've been churning out lately.

Darmian (because of his background) plus De Gea, Martial and maybe Mata are the only players United have that should even be interesting to us. But they could also go to other clubs in better leagues with more money, so it's kind of a moot point I guess.

United can offer £100m for a player if they want, but top players want to play for top clubs, not just really wealthy and famous ones.
