It's definitely not for everyone, because I live in Ireland EPL games are everywhere and all my friends watch the EPL. I am the opposite to you guys i suppose. I struggle to watch Serie A games and they just dont interest me because I love the intensity of the EPL.
When both teams are creating chances and bombarding forward it's really fun to watch in my opinion. I really only watch Juve games in Serie A.
I don't think it's the physical play and the straightforwardness that's putting people off.
I used to like EPL for its physicality and lack of diving and overall quality (of players mainly but also coaching and lacking in identity as a team). Nowadays, the latter two are missing. There's diving, more stop and play, lack of which made the EPL stand out. Quality of players and coaching of top teams also drastically deteriorated. In the last 3-4 years, there has been a negative slope. It hasn't been a good league to watch/follow this past few years.
Come on, are you really going to fault Ozil for not doing much with a ten man team that put on a terrible display against Chelsea.
If anything, he's dispelling the myth that he doesn't perform in the big games this season. He put in man of the match performances against the likes of City and United, and he was amazing against Bayern at home. The guy has been absolutely world class this season; in the past two months he's practically carried us single handedly with Sanchez, Cazorla and co out injured, and really if he had better teammates than the likes of Mertesacker, Flamini and some of the other jokes we have on our team, he'd probably have it easier.
I always thought it was premature to write him off after two average seasons, and he's definitely proving his critics wrong this season.
Yeah he's been one of the best PL players this season, and I don't even like him. Still think he's a good time player but it so happens that Arsenal have also rolled along pretty nicely with him, they're not 12 points off the top and under pressure to stay 3rd or 4th

How is he a good time player though? That probably only applied to him for two years. In the past two months we've had Sanchez, Cazorla, Wilshere and Coquelin out injured; he's had to carry a team with average players and keep grinding out results for us. Look at the City game, we were completely dominated in that game; two passes by Ozil and we're up 2-0. The NL derby against Spurs, we're 1-0 down at home, we are barely threatening, a magical ball over the top by Ozil to Gibbs, and we're level 1-1. Those are just two examples from big games in the past two months. Fact of the matter is, if you've been watching us, we've been playing very poorly for a while now, but we're grinding out results due to Ozil's creativity.
Ozil is brilliant in a brilliant team. I still think his best period was at Real and I've very rarely seen him be the player who pulled his team together.

Even a broken clock strikes correct two times a day. This is just one of the so few good brazilian players left. Usually they are just drunk washed up players.
