Santi Cazorla has been fantastic over the past couple of months, he was MOM against City as well, he's more versatile in that he can play deeper and defend when need be against teams like City, but he's wasted on the left, last season Cazorla was quite average when played on the left to accomodate Ozil. So the million dollar question is, what do you do now that Ozil is back and Cazorla on top form. Do you keep your record signing on the bench and not upset the status quo? do you drop Santi and play your record signing Ozil? or do you try and accommodate the two players, effectively changing the setup, and playing one of them out of position?

why not play cazorla in a deeper role and play ozil in that hole role?

That's easy. Cazorla's form is temporary and he is not the kind of player that can keep it up for long. Start Cazorla and let ozil enter as a sub. Then in time either ozil will hit great form too or Cazorla will go back to his usual performing levels(which is good but not ozil good) or ozil will flop and he could stay on the bench.

That would be what I'd try tbh. Cazorla looks like he's willing to put a shift in, no reason why he cant play deeper imo.

To be fair to Cazorla he was amazing in his first season for us, when he played behind the striker, but was quite poor last season when he was mostly played on the left.

I would too, he's only 25, and at his best he's world class. I wouldn't stick him straight into the team, but little by little I'd ease him back in.

I really like Cazorla, I would keep him in the team as long as he is playing well, don't like him on the left that much tbh, then I would sub Ozil in towards the end of the game and see how he goes, eventually he will get into form and the two can fight for that place.

Ya Santi was played on the wing last season, and he had a really bad time there.

I would personally keep Santi in the time being, Ozil should be given a game here and there while he returns to match fitness, then slowly start shifting Santi deeper and perhaps then play with Ozil as the #10 and Santi to be kind of like our Xavi but with insane dribbling skills
