I don't know to be honest, in his last year United were overperforming with the players they had while Arsenal, if anything, are underperforming with the quality they have. Wenger's tactics are just shit nowadays.

Arsenal won't win the league as long as the likes of Chelsea, city and even the more stable united (eventually they'll sort their problems) are all around.

I think that even arsenal management knows that. They'll secure that top 4 position as they always do. Try to go as far as possible in Europe. But that's about it IMO. They know that and they're happy with that (wining a cup title is just a bonus for them).

Arsenal are not going to win anything of note under Wenger ever again. An odd FA Cup every 5 years is not an achievement.

Sooner or later the board have to decide between their safe CL money (assuming that continues) and becoming a team that can challenge in a league with potentially 5-6 big teams.
