Almost fifth now. How come they're playing this bad? This is some terrible defending so far. Their backline gets exposed every time Chelsea gets the ball inside the box.

Its got nothing to do with our defense, and everything to do with Wenger's tactics. He has let us down time and time again in the big games, and he keeps making the same mistake. He made the mistake against City at Ittihad, he repeated it against Pool, he still didn't learn against Bayern and he does it again against Chelsea.

Instead of starting the game cautiously, and keeping it tight for 15-20 minutes. Wenger sets his team to attack gung ho from the get go, the premise is that it would surprise the opposition and catch them off guard, score early and impose ourselves from there. It always results in us missing a few opportunities, losing possession in the middle of the park and then getting slaughtered on the counter attack while our fullbacks are too high up the pitch to do anything, Arteta becomes isolated and he's far too slow and isn't dynamic enough to cover the vast amount of space he is left to defend.

Wenger just does not play to his teams strengths, and he does not adapt to opposition, he arrogantly believes he can outplay the likes of Chelsea, City and Bayern when clearly they have the better teams and the better individuals.

He's fucked up any chance we had of winning the title, its Wenger and Wenger only. not the players, not the defense, not the injuries. Wenger alone.

Terrible goalkeeping, but why not everybody else has been appalling.

I think so too. A draw would have been perfect for us; just sit back, and try and hit Chelsea on the occasional counter. But no, he wanted to beat Mourinho playinbg attacking football at Stamford bridge. The difference between the two managers is there for everyone to see. This coming from someone who considers himself a big Arsene Wenger fan.
