Well fuck me then he had a world class performance then didn't he? He had an ok game didn't do anything out of the ordinary anyway.
He was the best Arsenal player I guess. But yeah, he's not World Class. He's slightly above average because apparently he doesn't score a lot. Reminds me of someone else who didn't score a lot, took a while to warm up to the league, and was inconsistent. He was bald, I think?

Hahahahahahaha this has nothing to do with scoring goals omg. This is about his performances over 90 minutes. I couldn't care if he scored against a big team that wouldn't mean he had a good game lol. if his performances still suck they suck even if he managed to get on the score sheet.

I think in terms of ability he's a world class player, but maybe he's not a leader. He seems to excel when everything around his is going well, not so much the other way.

@Vialli_92 Ozil is pretty talented, to have the highest key assists in Madrid and spain overall for pretty much every season he was there shouldn't be taken lightly and I think for his talent and young age he deserved the amount of money spent on him.

He's not on level with greats like Zidane (some where comparing the two which IMO stupid) but to be hummered by the English media for being overpriced is a "trend" that I've seen in England for as far as I can remember. Whenever a team pays big on a player coming from "abroad" (some other league) and he doesn't play "perfectly" every single game he'll be attacked by them.

hahah I love mou :lol2:

Full quote:

The Blues boss was responding to the Arsenal manager's claim the Premier League title is "Chelsea's to lose".
Chelsea hold a one-point advantage over the Gunners, with Manchester City a further two points back.
Mourinho on Wenger

Under Wenger, Arsenal have not won a trophy since 2005 and Mourinho said: "Eight years without a piece of silverware, that's failure."

Mourinho continued: "He is a specialist in failure. I'm not. So if he is right and I am afraid of failure it is because I didn't fail many times."

"The reality is he's a specialist because eight years without a piece of silverware, that's failure. If I do that in Chelsea, eight years, I leave and don't come back."

@Gabriel - congrats on the complex algorithm scudetto, I mean, PL title.

Bloomberg Sports boffins have used their super computer to predict the outcome – and winner – of this year’s Premier League. The conclusion produced from the numbers crunched in their complex algorithm is that Chelsea will lift the Premier League title with 83 points, beating Manchester City by only a single point in the race for the top.

Mourinho is an excellent coach, and I think he knows that 80% of what he says is bullshit, but he does it anyway just to toy with the media. It's classless and loses him a lot of respect, but it's a good tactic.
