If there is even a shred of truth in the James thing then Tielemans wouldnt be the smartest buy as we need a strong midfielder who is strong in his level of play and in his physique - should be able to contribute defensively but also could contribute to our attack!
If its only 1 or 2 CM - 1 CM like Matuidi and 1 optional but not a superstar one then Tielemans could be perfect...

This time is different. Our board decided to shift the focus from CM to the forwards so Higuain can be considered Pogba's replacement and we went easy on CM.

Plus, CM wasn't entirely neglected, since Pjanic came in, and Lemina's move became permanent. And another CM may still come.
