No, he isn't. He just realised that United are trying to push him out by making him play with the reserves and hoping he quits so they don't have to pay all of his wages. Fortunately Schweini is too experienced to be bothered by all this and he'll just show up for every practice or game they'll make him go to, just so he can collect his money.

Sounds like another excellent Arsenal target. You know, another sort of okay central midfielder. Wenger never has enough of those.
But hes physically strong and can tackle. Not a wenger signing at all.

What I don't get is how every EPL club seems to have unlimited transfer funds, except Arsenal.

I'm genuinely curious about this. What's the reason for that, @Fred?
Our board has no interest in football results that much is obvious. We have the highest gate receipts in England and the second highest overall revenue, yet we get outspent by 4 or 5 clubs every season. The board and Wenger are only interested in financial performance, and its working out great for them. Minimal investment in the squad and get fourth every year.

Btw if the Serie A gets that fourth cl spot from the EPL, we're fucked :frown:

Not without reason. If he doesn't go anywhere, he could easily be Persona Non Grata at Juve.

Yes, Pogba will be missed, but in essence we replaced Pogba and Padoin with Pjanic and if we get him, Matuidi. Add to the fact that the only other key player we have lost this year is Morata, and he was replaced with Higuain. And that is not even counting Alves, Benatia, and Pjaca.

Getting Cuadrado would be an absolute bonus, and make us that much deeper and more unpredictable

I know that people are still smarting over the Pogba move, and with good reason.

I guess I just take a look at everything after all is said and done and I say to myself "Are we a better squad"? And that answer, as it has been , in reality for the last 5 summer mercatos, is yes.
we can't buy someone as good as Pogba so matuidi wouldn't be pogba replacement coz he is no where near Pogba’s level.buying pjanic and matuidi can only mean 2 things : reinforcements and we have 2 very good ones for the midfield position.

Would Wenger really go along with that, if that is indeed the case? He's a former football player and a manager, surely it's in his blood to want to win? He's spent so long at that club, why would he put the financial gain of a few board members over the allure of winning?

Hope we get someone who will improve us rather than just be a temp starter or just a rotation player! Although reports keep insisting on Matuidi so I guess we will get him...
Damn if we just have Pogba staying...
I hope we take the initiative for the whole game and not fall back when we are in the lead (as has been vs Fiorentina and also last year)
The Bayern game - We started really well and attacked them then we went 2-0 up with a wrongly disallowed goal then we sat a bit back and conceded the 2! In the first game it was the opposite as we were afraid sat back and conceded 2 then attacked and deserved the draw! Conclusion we need to attack from the start to the end! Physical players can really help in breaking top teams midfield! (Physical means to a certain degree not Roma type of physical which includes braking legs and etc..)

Some reports say if we don't sign Matuidi, we'll go for Kovacic.
Matuidi is currently a better player
Kovacic - I`m not sure about him - He is definitely a player who can become WC but I have a feeling he is one of these players who make a name for themselves early and then they get stuck at the same level
