Cuadrado would seem surplus to requirements but the rumor is the loan would cost 3m. Option to buy figure is the issue.
However, it would seem that Cuadrado really WANTS the move. He was clearly happy in Turin.
I wonder if we could mould Cuadrado into something more than a wing back. In the 352, he would be at best 2nd choice if not 3rd choice behind Alves and Lichsteiner. In a back 4, he still wouldn't be close to being a starter. Perhaps for Dybala or Pjaca.
If Cuadrado's defensive side of his game improved, you think he could even play in a midfield 3? He would need to adapt if he came here to get playing time clearly.
We would be SOOOO stacked on wing backs. Alves, Lichsteiner, and Cuadrado on the right.......Evra, Sandro, and Asamoah on the left.
The GOOD thing about having Cuadrado is that with Pjaca we would have some speedy options as Higuain, Dybala and Mandzukic are not exactly express trains for counters.
