Allegri
After Paul Pogba’s world transfer record move to Manchester United, Juve have been linked with numerous midfielders, including Nemanja Matic, Cesc Fabregas, Axel Witsel, Blaise Matuidi and Marcelo Brozovic.

“The important thing is that the two players are talented, technically gifted and have the character to play for Juventus. The market closes on August 31 and the club has done very well so far,” continued Allegri.

“We don’t need a new striker, as there would be no point signing someone inferior to the level we already have.”

"two players" :tuttosport:

I suppose that means we are selling Hernanes and Bobby as well

weird that he claims Juventus won't sign any new FWs so maybe Zaza is staying?
Could be he count Pjaca as a forward, or maybe he still counts Zaza as staying as officially he is . Same thing he said about Pogba before the deal was official.

More importantly if we are going to sign two midfielders, i think we surely have to see a couple of names sold in the midfield as well on top of Hernanes/Pereyra.

Looks like he's off to Wolfsburg. An outside chance of bringing in Gustavo in scambio perhaps. The other front runners at the moment appear to be Brozovic and Fabregas.

Brozovic, Luis Gustavo, Fabregas, Matuidi, looks like none of them are adequate or exciting signing to cover Pogba.

and just over 4 years ago he played for Arsenal :p
It isnt my opinion that he was the best midfielder in the league, it was an almost consensus opinion to be honest. He created 18 goals that season and had one of the highest average chances created per game in europe. I mean it isnt far fetched to say hes generalky been one of the top creative cms in europe in the past 7 or 8 years.
