Isco is transfer listed by Real,so i think if we can agree with him and he wants to come here there won't be problems with Real.

But yeah,Kova is a much more likely target.
I would take Kova for sure, young has talent to grow.

Common Beppe, make us happy once again this summer :D

I would love to have Isco here but if he's too expensive I would take Oscar before Kovacic tbh..still my favorite addition to our midfield would be Matic but we should know whether he's attainable or not in the next 24 hrs

Pjanic playing deep wil affect his creativity, he will dictate the tempo, but he won't be as effective and decisive as playing high up in the pitch.
I still think that 4 at the back is the way to go in the CL, that's wht we need a creative CM/AM in case we want to deploy that formation.
Not taking into account that if Pjanic gets injured will be in deep trouble.
I agree we need 4 at the back, but if we do it only on CL we have no chance to win it. We need to do it all the time, it's vital imo

Problem is... Everyone knows we got a shitload for pogba and are desperate for midfielders.. So isco would probably cost us 50M or so..

Next thing you know beppe pulls a rabbit out of his hat and signs a midfielder from the Serie a..

Only God knows who because hamsick just signed a new contract :p

we have the perfect players to play a 352, why play 4312?

we will see both, but our main system should be the 352.
exactly.

Because our best performances in the CL came when we played with 4 in the back :shifty:
Different circumstances. We had Pirlo, Vidal and Pogba and Marchisio wasn't injured. We also didn't have Dani Alves to play RWB and our CBs were having injury problems.

But the 3-5-2 for me is not suited for european football, and as i previously said look at our best performances the last few years in the CL, majority came with us playing 4 at the back.

Can't you see a difference in 352 between Lich-Evra as wingbacks and Sandro-Alves. It's totally different 352.
In last WH game Alves was constantly covered by Lemina and played almost as wing forward when we had the ball.

I was the first one to lose my mind over the limitation of the old 3-5-2 in Europe, it looked like cancer at times. And that was for two reasons

1. We had a bunch of really, really technically piss poor to average strikers. Vucinic was the exception but he could not deliver enough goals at all. They were so isolated in big games, and could never make something out of nothing in a Million years against the likes of Bayern

2. We played through our wing backs so much, especially lichtsteiner. End result we constantly had a defensive minded technically bog standard full back up in the oppositions box. He couldn't cross, he couldn't take his man on and he never had a burst of pace or some tricks up his sleeve.

Whilst other teams were looking at the likes of Robben and Bale to make a difference in that area. We had our 30 year old right back.

Sub Matri-Quags/Vucinic for Dybala - Higuain

And add in A.S and Alves you have a 3-5-2 that is not limited by shit strikers or players playing way too forward for their own good.

It's not like we can't switch to something else with the bench players we have, if we need to.
